The wine is very harmonious, full-bodied and smooth, with a long, lingering finish.

The Region

The northeastern Spanish region of Aragon encompasses the wide Ebro Valley and is dominated to the north by the Pyrenees, which supply the dry valley with water. Thanks to this location, the wines here have great potential. Small, excellent wineries with a strong focus on quality make Aragon, with its four DO zones—Cariñena, Calatayud, Campo de Borja and Somontano—increasingly attractive to wine lovers. Red Garnacha and Tempranillo are the main varieties grown here.
