About BORN ROSÉ

Bottling a piece of Barcelona: That was the vision of a group of passionate female entrepreneurs in early 2019. This gave birth to two very special rosé wines, created to reflect and inspire the Barcelona lifestyle. In doing so, they joined the rosé revolution that had conquered the world in recent years, from Provence to the USA, Great Britain and Scandinavia. Now their sights are firmly set on Switzerland: BORN ROSÉ is set to become THE rosé brand that will take the category of rosé wines to even greater heights.

The Region

Catalonia is a renowned region in northeastern Spain. The Catalans are the driving force and leading innovators in Spanish winemaking. They were the first to produce sparkling wine in the Penedès using the traditional method used to make Champagne – and cava continues to play an important role here to this day. This major wine region offers every type of microclimate imaginable. On the coast, the sea provides freshness and moisture, while inland conditions are drier and hotter. Mountain ranges, with their chains of hills and steep slopes, also create many exceptional terroirs, particularly on limestone and clay soils. These natural conditions, combined with the ingenuity of local winegrowers, produce an abundance of outstanding wines.
