Kaiken Estate Malbec Mendoza – Vegan 2023 Red Wine – A full-bodied, well-balanced ruby-red wine. Its intense bouquet has wonderful aromas of plum, sour cherry, spicy pepper and vanilla, along with notes of toast. Very harmonious, full and smooth in structure, it shows velvety tannins, rich fruit and lovely toasted notes on the palate, rounded off by a wonderfully long finish.

The region

More than 300 years ago, Jesuits discovered Mendoza’s suitability for viticulture. Today, the province is Argentina’s most important and largest wine-growing region. The dry climate, the significant temperature differences between day and night, and the vineyards at around 1,000 metres above sea level provide ideal conditions for producing quality wines. Thanks to the Andean glaciers, there is always enough water, making the stony, clay and sandy soils the perfect foundation for naturally grown grapes.
