About Locos por el Vino

When top-quality winemakers come together, great things happen. This is the case with the wonderful wines of Locos Por El Vino (Crazy About Wine), whose vineyards grow in young, new vine plantations in the best locations and are refined by their creators into fruity yet complex, modern, and elegant tasting experiences. Two winemakers of the finest wines from Alto Moncayo, Chris Ringland and José Miguel San Martin, are realizing another project with Locos Por El Vino.

The Region

The northeastern Spanish region of Aragón encompasses the wide Ebro Valley and is dominated in the north by the Pyrenees, which supply the dry valley with water. Due to this location, the wines here have great potential. Small, excellent wineries with a strong focus on quality make Aragón, with its four DO zones Cariñena, Calatayud, Campo de Borja, and Somontano, increasingly interesting for wine lovers. Red Garnacha and Tempranillo are mainly grown here.
