Our vines thrive particularly well in the canton of Graubünden. They are ideally suited to its mild climate and soil. The limestone-rich soils bring out the finest qualities of the Pinot Noir grape. The valleys where vines are grown also benefit from warmer temperatures and significantly more hours of sunshine than many other regions. This combination produces soft, fruity, full-bodied wines with intense concentration. Raetia Prima was already the name of the area from which these excellent wines came in the 1st century AD.
