About Pousio

A small, refined, and state-of-the-art winery in Vidigueira, in the heart of the Alentejo, delights with balanced and supple wines made primarily from indigenous grape varieties. Stony, barren granite and slate soils ensure highly concentrated grapes. In a dry, frost-free climate influenced by the Atlantic, hot days and cool nights provide the foundation for wines with a harmonious flavor profile, where strength and elegance, fruit and spice merge. In every product, the hard work, patience, and love that each member of the team puts into all phases of production are palpable.
