Quinta Sardonia QS – Organic 2020 Red Wine – This very harmonious garnet-red wine captivates with intensely fruity aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry, along with hints of cherry and plum. There are also notes of biscuit and chocolate, as well as delicately spicy notes of licorice and vanilla. Juicy tannins, an extremely smooth, full-bodied structure, and a very long-lasting finish leave a lasting impression.

About Quinta Sardonia

Quinta Sardonia originated in the 1990s from a joint project by the Frenchman Jérôme Bougnaud and the renowned Dane Peter Sisseck. The Region

Castile-León comprises the northern half of the great central Spanish plateau. It extends from central Spain almost to the northern coast; the vineyards are situated at altitudes of 700 to 1,000 m above sea level. Despite its proximity to the Atlantic, the climate is continental, with hot, dry summers, icy winters, and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night. As it also rains very little, the soils are nutrient-poor—except near the region's many rivers, the most famous of which is the Duero, where significantly more minerals and clay can be found.
