Quinta Sardonia QS2 – Organic 2021 Red Wine – A wonderfully balanced garnet-red cuvée with strong aromas of ripe black berries, cocoa, some plum notes and dried fruit. On the palate, it shows a beautiful freshness and a soft, very full body. Here, spicy notes of licorice and cloves join the dense fruit; the enjoyment is rounded off by an incredibly long-lasting finish.

Quinta Sardonia originated from a joint project in the 1990s by the Frenchman Jérôme Bougnaud and the renowned Dane Peter Sisseck. The Region

Castile-León comprises the northern half of the large central Spanish plateau. It extends from central Spain almost to the northern coast; the vineyards lie at 700 to 1000 m above sea level. Despite its proximity to the Atlantic, the climate is continental, with hot, dry summers, icy winters and also large temperature fluctuations between day and night. Because it also rains very little, the soils are nutrient-poor – except near the region's numerous rivers, the most famous of which is the Duero, where significantly more minerals and clay can be found.
