Content:
50cl
Alcohol content:
44% vol.
Ingredients:
Bourbon, sugar, cocktail bitters, absinthe
Description:
Due to its composition and ingredients, the Sazerac is closely related to the Old Fashioned. This classic was created in the Sazerac Bar in New Orleans at the beginning of the 20th century. It is slightly less well-known, but in terms of taste, it is completely on par with the Old Fashioned. We recommend it more for the experienced cocktail drinker, whereas the Old Fashioned is a good entry point into the world of classic cocktails.
Tasting notes:
Very balanced with a spicy note from the absinthe. A pleasant smoothness from the bourbon makes it accessible and easy-drinking.
Serving suggestion:
Pour into a tumbler with ice, stir briefly, and spray with a lemon zest. If you have absinthe on hand: rinse the glass with it for a wonderful emphasis on the spice.
