Seagull Valley Chardonnay South-East 2025 White Wine – A robust bouquet of mandarin and orange rises from this golden-yellow, fruity wine. This is complemented by roasted aromas of biscuit and toast, as well as some spicy pepper and vanilla notes. On the palate, its full, incredibly harmonious and very soft structure is delightful.

About Seagull Valley

The roots of the Bataillard company go back a long way, to the 16th century. At that time, the Lucerne-based firm Businger & Cie ensured shipping traffic on Lake Lucerne, at the foot of the Gotthard, as a logistics and service provider in north-south trade. Later, Businger also became a food wholesaler and wine importer. In 2004, Liliane and Hans-Erich Fischer-Curti's daughter, Corinne Fischer, took over the management of Bataillard AG, which she led with passion until 2012. Since then, Corinne Fischer has served as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. Her brother, Marc Fischer, is the Managing Director of Steinfels Wine Auctions. The company remains family-owned to this day. 

The Region

South East Australia comprises several states in the southeast and all of Australia's major wine-growing regions in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. This makes the vast region the official Superzone. Thanks to its proximity to the sea, the climate is dry and rather Mediterranean, making it ideal for viticulture. Gently rolling landscapes and fertile soils provide the best conditions for beautifully ripe grapes and fruity, sun-drenched wines.
