Siddùra Bèru Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG 2016 White Wine – Straw yellow with golden reflections. The bouquet is incredibly detailed and complex, with notes of vanilla cream, thyme, ripe yellow stone fruit, and passion fruit. On the palate, this is a very full-bodied wine with an elegant, soft, mineral note and plenty of exotic fruit and herbal spice components.

About Siddùra
The discovery of an abandoned, old vineyard in the breathtaking landscape of Gallura inspired the winemakers of Siddùra to take on a new challenge and helped to make an old dream come true. The Siddùra winery describes itself as a love letter to Sardinia, a tribute to the island's purity, simplicity, and tradition. A perfect combination of soil, terroir, and weather in the midst of nature, close to the sea, produces uniquely distinctive wines.
The Region
Wine has been made on Sardinia, Italy's second-largest island, for a very long time. Civilizations such as the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, and Spaniards have left their mark, leading to a great diversity of grape varieties. Historically, linguistically, and culturally, Sardinia seems to have been detached from Italy; therefore, it is no wonder that most of the significant grape varieties are of Spanish origin. In Sardinia, we will certainly find a large number of grape varieties that are as distinctive as the Sardinians themselves. From these, a growing number of winemakers produce equally individual yet outstanding wines, which are considered a secret tip by many. Generally, the Mediterranean climate shapes Sardinia, although it is cooler in the north and very dry on the south coast; the soils are partly loamy inland, while they are more sandy along the coast.
